An Ithaca, New York-based technology company has a new senior leader roaming its halls.
Envisage Systems, LLC has brought in Daren Free to serve as chief operating officer, according to a company news release. Free will work with Steff McGonagle and Robb Jetty, the co-founders of Envisage.
“I was really excited about the fact that its a unique company that is ethics based,” Free told the 401kWire in a phone interview.
Free said he expects that in the next few years, Envisage will “take a lot of our knowledge and continue to build out the product side of our business.”
Prior to joining Envisage, Free worked as the chief operating officer at Schwab Retirement Technologies and vice president for Schwab’s retirement business for 11 years. He’s also worked at American Management Systems, and served in the United States Marine Corps.
